Recycling E-waste: A Quick-guide to Best Practices

We throw away tens—if not hundreds—of pounds of trash every week. From food to papers to other odds and ends, trash is part of our lives. Some things we think hard about throwing away, especially if we live in a community that has recycling pickup. If so, then it’s likely that items such as glass and paper may not actually end up in the landfill—and that’s a good thing. But there’s one thing many of us don’t think long and hard about before we throw away, and it’s actually contributing to our global trash problem in a too-real way: recycling e-waste (electronics).
