EdTech Startups Transforming Learning Experiences Across Africa

Technology is rapidly changing the way we perform everyday tasks. Whether it’s information access, data gathering and sharing, or learning new skills, technology has created new avenues to save time and have quicker access to the global community at the click of a button.

EdTech startups are reinventing education across the continent, as young entrepreneurs across Africa have taken significant steps in revitalizing the educational sector. EdTech merges innovation with teaching technology resulting in a more accessible and comprehensive educational experience. In recent years schools have adopted robotic teaching assistants, Virtual Reality experiences, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and Virtual Classrooms. These changes in the learning environment have helped  bridge the information and access gap between first-world and developing nations; especially regarding traditional teaching methods and practical experiences.
