Lake Victoria Challenge: Ambitious Innovators Welcomed

Are you familiar with the lake Victoria region in East Africa? Better yet, have you heard of the Lake victoria challenge? The Lake Victoria Challenge aims to reimagine the landscape and lifestyle of the surrounding communities by improving the lives of the 30 million people living in the world’s most densely populated rural area — the shores of the Lake Victoria basin, its economy and services.

Inhabitants of the Lake Victoria area need better mobility infrastructure and connectivity to enable medical supplies, commercial cargo, and wider economic opportunities to flourish in this region. Drones can make a significant difference in hard-to-reach communities. The submission deadline is April 25, 2019 midnight (GMT). Click here for more information.
